DAYS OF ZEN

A little bit about me

I began practicing yoga after the birth of my first child in 2004 as a way to relax and maintain balance in my life. In 2010 I was diagnosed with MDS, and again yoga helped me find balance and physical strength as I recovered from the harsh treatments that accompanied my bone marrow transplant. As a survivor of a terminal illness, I am humbled by the miracle of the human body and its amazing capacity.

Why I love what I do

I am passionate about total mind/ body health and wellness, and believe that each day is a gift—another opportunity for personal growth and self discovery. After being inspired to share my passion with others, I completed Nancy Ruby’s YogaMotion life enrichment and 200 hour teacher training in 2014. I have found my zen, my true happy place, by focusing my life on the study and teaching of the practice of yoga, and I look forward to growing in the practice with you!
